Foreigner citizens in Turkiye have rights and obligations by various national and international law. Under Foreigner International Protection Law No.6458, foreigners who enter Turkiye within legal methods and who have a valid passport, can stay with short-term residence permit upto 2 years in Turkiye, and renew again within the expiration period.
If you have been living in Turkey for the last 8 years, you can apply for a long-term residence permit.
